Are laptop manufacturers selling laptops with CCFL LCD screens anymore?
Preferably, I'm looking for a laptop with a 17-inch screen, but 15 inches would be ok too. LCD screens with LED backlights give me headaches, but CCFL backlights don't.
Yes. Yes they are.
You should double check that because I think you have the two technologies confused. LED light is a natural light that comes off of electrons jumping a gap. This light doesn't give people headaches. CCFL light screws with people because it produces pulsing light by passing current though a gas at high voltage.
Regardless, most laptops are still CCFL. To make sure, get a cheap assed brand like aser, ASUs, gateway, etc.
