Different Uses of LED Screens: Use in Sports Arena
There are few things in this world better than attending a live sporting event.
The sights, the smells and the raw atmosphere of the crowd are hard to beat for any sporting nut.
However, one of the biggest draw backs has traditionally been the fact that you don't get as much of an impression of what's going on. Often you have to phone friends at home to find out exactly what went on.
This is why LED screens have had such an important role to play in enhancing the experience for spectators of live sports.
The reason is simple. LED screens make it possible to broadcast all sorts of events in bright high visibility even in the brightest daylight. They can do this because of the particular way they work.
An Led screen works in much the same way as a normal television. However whereas your TV makes use of a cathode ray tube and lots of pixels to make up the image, it uses clusters of bright LED lights to make up a single pixel. Seen close to they're not much.
However, the further away you get the clearer the picture becomes. The final result is much brighter than a normal television display which is what makes them perfect for live sporting event.
Even a large screen of 10 metre in width or more will have a width of barely a few centimetres.
The bright qualities of Led screens mean that the images will be perfectly visible in even the strongest of sunlight.
The benefits this offers are obvious. For example, imagine you spent a day at the races. A big screen allows you to follow all the action that you might possibly have missed out on. You see exactly when the horses are getting ready and can judge the right time to get near the track to see them.
Alternatively, if you're in a large stadium you can get close in on the action even if it's far away. We've all experienced the frustration of being in the top tier of a stadium. You don't get to see much except a few disparate moving figures in the far distance.
Without LED Screens, attending any live event used to always be a compromise. You gained in terms of atmosphere and experience. However, you lost in terms of judging the action.
Now that's a thing of the past. You can have your cake and eat it. The proof of the pudding is in the vast numbers of people now willing to attend sporting events of all kinds right across the country.
