My laptop screen flickers?
I used another Dell adaptor charger for my old Dell laptop and later I understood the output voltage was higher and not appropriate for my laptop. From 10 minutes later since now that I unplogged my laptop immidiately, I have a problem with my screen. It flickers and delivers kind of noisy picture. Let me note that:
1- My screen does not turn black completely and just this noise doesnt let me work with it.
2- Even some times for short seconds I have the normal display but again same happens.
3- The output is proper on any external displayer like projector (so VGA is ok)
My question is that is this a problem of the Inverter (LCD power chip) because of high recieved voltage or I should change the LCD it self?
its probably just because of the high voltage it received. you should just remove the battery and the charger from the laptop, hold down the power button for 30 seconds, replug everything back in, and turn it on (when i mention turning it on, i mean to use the correct charger this time). make sure you get the correct charger for your specific laptop and from a good source as well. if you dont, expect the same issues to occur. if you end up looking online i would personally suggest you visit topmicrousa they are very reliable and have yet to disappoint.
