Help! i cant connect my ps3 to my HD TV via HDMI cable?
i just bought a new TV which is HD ready i don't know what model it is but its a 19" RED LCD HDTV (RED is the brand name not the colour) anyway when i connect the ps3 to the TV via the scart it works but is in SDTV but when i connect the HDMI cable to the TV and ps3 it wont get a picture in AV but if i connect it up with the scart cable and HDMI the picture is there because of the scart and when i change the display settings to HDMI video output the screen goes blank then when either the 30 seconds are up or i cancel it goes back to the video output selection settings. what should i do? i have looked in the TV manual and it doesn't help me at all and i don't have the ps3 manual as i have lost that please help thanks
Kai is almost correct. When turning on the system from standby mode, continue holding the power button until you hear more beeps after the initial single power on beep. The wait is about 3-5 seconds, not 30. Your video will reset and the system will ask you which output to use. Choose the one you're currently using (SCART/HDMI/AV) and off you go.
Canon welcomes ELPH 530 HS / 320 HS, SX260 HS and D20 to PowerShot lineup (Engadget)
In addition to the new additions to Canon's A-Series of digital cameras, the
company is also giving more demanding consumers a similar outpouring of love
with four additional shooters in the PowerShot family, which sport a diverse
array of features such as WiFi connectivity, 20x optical zoom and rugged
designs. Leading the charge for the ELPH lineup is the 530 HS. Along with the
320 HS, it features the ability to wirelessly upload images to Canon's online
portal, where users may then post their latest captures to Facebook, Twitter
and YouTube. The ELPH 530 HS features a 12x optical zoom lens paired with a 10
megapixel sensor and is expected to retail for $349 in April. Meanwhile, the
320 HS delivers a 5x optical zoom lens and a 16.1 megapixel sensor. It'll
carry a $280 price tag and is set to hit stores in March. Both ELPH models
feature Canon's DIGIC 5 image processor, capture 1080p video and include a
3.2-inch LCD touchscreen.
